HKSTLA Shipping Logistics and Practice Course (Intake 17)

Please be informed that HKSTLA is organizing the following training course will be scheduled on this February 2011~March 2011.

Shipping Logistics and Practice Course (Intake 17)
Duration: 10 sessions from 22 February 2011 to 29 March 2011 (22/2, 24/2, 3/3, 8/3, 10/3, 15/3, 17/3, 22/3, 24/3 & 29/3)
Time: 7:15 pm - 9:45 pm
Venue: HKSTLA Secretariat, 8/F., Chow Tai Fook Centre, 580A Nathan Road, Mongkok, Hong Kong.
Tuition Fee: HK$2,700 per HKSTLA member [Two (2) or more participants from the same company, HK$50 off per person ie. HK$2,650 per person; Bulk registration: Register (5) participants at HK$2,700 per person, Sixth person FREE ie. HK$2,250 per person]
; HK$2,900 per non-member [Two (2) or more participants from the same company, HK$50 off per person ie. HK$2,850 per person; Bulk registration: Register (5) participants at HK$2,900 per person, Sixth person FREE ie. HK$2,417 per person] (After TLTB Reimbursement, HK$1,875 per member; HK$1,825 per member for Register (2) or more participants from the same company; HK$1,425 per member for Register (5) participants ; HK$2,075 per non-member; HK$2,025 per non-member for Register (2) or more participants from the same company; HK$1,592 per person for Register (5) participants)

Training Logistics Training Board (TLTB) of Vocational Training Council has agreed to subsidize $825 to each participant who reaches an attendance rate over 80%. The application form for partial reimbursement and details will be sent to the student together with the student acceptance letter within 3 working days after the enrollment deadline. Reimbursement will be made within eight weeks after the end of the course via VTC-TLTB.

The course is primarily designed for junior to middle level staff of sea freight and logistics companies (i.e. shipping companies and sea freight forwarders). The objective of this course is to appreciate participants whith the concept of the types and functions of different documents and the skills to do a cost-effective logistics operations and third-party logistics in the shipping & logistics industry.

Upon successful completion of the Association’s qualifying membership courses (Shipping Logistics and Practice Course & Marketing/Sales/Customer Services/CRM in Sea Transport and Logistics Course), students will be eligible to apply for Studying Membership of HKSTLA.
